Andy Weir, 84-year-old retired farmer, died at 10:55 a.m. Thursday at Culver Hospital after an illness of three months. He had lived recently at the Montgomery County Home. A son of Robert and Marjorie Keller Weir, he was born March 6, 1886 in southwestern Montgomery County. He farmed most of his life in the Linnsburg area. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Shumate of Romney, Mrs. Raymond Grimes of Rt. 3 and Mrs. Wibur Aldred of Vevay, and three brothers, Arlie, Albert and Roy, all of Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating and interment in the Weir Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today. - kbz
